Friday lunches recommenced on Friday 13th September 2019 with a fantastically tasty home made cottage pie topped with crunched new potatoes, cabbage, cauliflower and thin sliced carrot garnish. Home made bread and butter pudding proved a big hit. Last week featured delicious fillet of chicken thigh on a bed of vegetables with a vegetable stock, carrots, broccoli and new potatoes followed by home made rice pudding and strawberry jam.
This Friday (27th) we're looking forward to sausage and mash with seasonal vegetables and onion gravy followed by home made apple crumble and cream / home made custard. The cooking apples are fresh from the manse and member's gardens - truly home made as well!
