Most Friday lunchtimes during the year we host and run a community lunch in our main hall. Around 50 guests assemble from noon onwards for a meal, commencing at 12.30, of a main course followed by dessert and a hot drink. The meals are home made and produced by our qualified chef assisted by a willing band of helpers. Friendships are made and sustained in a convivial atmosphere. A chance to get together once a week. The price of the meal is £4. If you would like to join our regulars then please contact us for more information or to book your first week.
Friday lunches recommenced on Friday 13th September 2019 with a fantastically tasty home made cottage pie topped with crunched new potatoes, cabbage, cauliflower and thin sliced carrot garnish. Home made bread and butter pudding proved a big hit. Next week features fillet of chicken thigh on a bed of vegetables with a vegetable stock, carrots, broccoli (my spellings not always great!) and potatoe surprise followed by home made rice pudding and jam.
